All praise is for Allah and peace and blessings upon the Messenger of Allah.

A writer raised doubts about the hadeeeth reported by al-Bukhari regarding the age of ‘Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) when the Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) married her.
I shall divide my answer into three categories:
1) Presentation of the consensus of the Umma on what is reported in the two Sahih Hadeeth books [i.e. Bukhari and Muslim],
2) Expose of the mistakes of the writer in what he concluded and
3) Clarification of the issue of the marriage of Aisha .
